Great question! I did some research and here is what I found.
1. Double Click reported the following rates in the 3rd quarter of 2003.
- 9.5% bounce rate
- 8.7% click though
2. Constant Contact
reports these average rates among their users in the last 3 months.
- 18.3% bounce rate
- 37.0% open rate
- 8.9% click through rate
3. E-Business Tutor (so you can compare to someone you know whose newsletter you
receive)
a) My last newsletter in October
- 3.6% bounce rate
- 37.3% open rate
- 24.7% click through rate
b) My last
Nanaimo workshop schedule in October
- 9.3 bounce rate
- 71.8 open rate
- 25.0 click through rate
